New Product Design, Development and Manufacturing

Maristream - The designer and manufacturer of the new Conservator Surveillance System - your one-box, affordable, feature-rich, world wide web surveillance solution, and THE security solution for budget-minded municipalities, industries, companies, and even individuals.

The Conservator Surveillance System has everything you've been looking for in a camera, and more, while also saving you over 90% compared to the usual $10,000-plus per camera costs!

How can we say that?  Well, judge for yourself:

Enough Said.  Let's take a look at this marvel:

Camera has a 22x optical zoom (44x digital zoom) with true night vision (not infrared) down to 0.02 LUX moonlight conditions.

New incredibly rugged 5" square embedded PC is designed to operate at temperatures ranging from -4ºF to 158ºF (-20ºC to 70ºC).

Watch and control up to 4 cameras anywhere in the world from your office or home PC.

Options:

  • Wireless Connection (up to 100 feet).

  • Wired Connection (direct video cable up to 100 feet).

  • Cellular Connection (requires a cellular data contract from your local cell phone company).

  • Motion Detectors for when you don't need a continuous feed.

  • Automatic Heater for when weather conditions are anticipated to dip below freezing.

  • Tinted Ballistic Casing (.45 caliber rated) for protection, glare reduction and concealment (the first truly bullet-resistant camera casing in the industry and using our patented process).

  • and more, including:

The USB Conservator Camera Controller:

Working with the monitoring software on your computer, the USB Conservator Camera Controller provides an easy-to-use, sight-free, touch interface for up to four cameras mounted anywhere in the area you are monitoring.  Switch quickly between the four cameras and pan and tilt as needed using the rocker ball under your palm.  Or, pan to any of nine preset positions using the buttons under your thumb.  Then, zoom in and out using the rocker switch under your index finger.  There are also controls for focus and autofocus, iris (light coming in), night vision, camera sweep, home position (center), and setup.  What could be easier?

Who is Buying or Evaluating Our Conservator Surveillance Systems?

Emergency Phone Dialer For Only $49.99 With NO Monthly Fees!

We will never claim to be the only company with good ideas and products, but, this is one of those forehead-slapping "Duh!" products from X10 - "Why didn't I think of that?!"  For the Keenagers (senior citizens) among us, those with medical conditions, and those living alone, this will ease your mind about what you could do in case of an emergency at home when you can't get to a phone.  The X10 "Personal Assistance Voice Dialer" works kindof like Lifeline®- you carry a locket around your neck that you push a button on if you need help, and it calls for help - simple enough.  But, what does that cost you per month?  $40 or so?  How would you like to get the same (or greater) capability, not for $40 per month, but for a one-time cost of $49.99 (with free shipping at that!)?  Well, X10 has it.

With the X10 Personal Assistance Voice Dialer, you just enter up to four phone numbers and record an emergency message (of 15 seconds or less, such as "This is an emergency call from John Smith.  Please send help.  You can press zero to listen in at John's house.").  When you have an emergency at or around your house (the locket has a 100 ft range), such as if you have fallen and can't get up, just press the button on the locket.  The X10 Personal Assistance Voice Dialer calls each of the four phone numbers in turn to find help.  If no one answers the first number, it leaves the emergency message in their voice mail, and moves on to the second number.  When someone answers, it plays the emergency message to them to let them know that John Smith has an emergency.  They can then press 0 on their phone to listen in on what's happening at John's house.  If none of the four numbers are reached, it sets off a louder alarm to try to get the attention of the neighbors (an alarm does start ringing when the unit is activated, which is fairly loud).

The X10 Personal Assistance Voice Dialer is easy to install (plug in the power, plug in the phone line, and insert the 9V backup battery), easy to program, easy to use, and easy on the wallet (just $49.99), with no monthly charges.  What more could you ask for?  I bought one for my Mom, my Aunt, and a long-time friend of ours (and installed it for them), then demoed it to 100 Keenagers at our church.  They just love it and the peace of mind that it brings.  Order your's today, or order them for the ones you love!

The Vision of Maristream:

Calling All Angels
We plan to open our doors by the first week of October (that is, if our customers can wait that long!).  Our goal is to be the premier research, development, and new product manufacturing facility of the South, not only for our ideas, but also assisting fellow inventors, developers, and visionaries to bring their own ideas to market, thus "putting innovation to work."  Our role model is fellow inventor and philanthropist Dean Kamen of DEKA Research, inventor of the Segway Transporation System and many other innovative medical devices and inventions (with 400 patents so far).  We also plan to be a major philanthropic organization, giving up to half of our profits to groups such as The Nature Conservancy, The Central Arkansas Land Trust, Feed The Children, and Heifer Project International.
Calling All Angels
In order to fund this research and development, we will be using the profits from our own products (such as the Conservator Surveillance System, which was named after the Nature Conservancy), along with venture capital from "angel investors", matching them with projects that they may be interested in funding (to spread the wealth and the risk).  We will ask for no ownership of the products that we assist in developing - all that we will ask is 5% of the profits from those products, which will go back into our research and development funding.  For the angel investors out there that are reading this (you know who you are), please join us in support of our local inventors and visionaries.  You can contact us at angels@maristream.org.

In case you are wondering, the genesis of the name "Maristream" is from my aunt, Mary Katherine ("Mari"), whom I never got to know since she died in childhood, followed by STeve REA Manufacturing ("stream") - OK, I got a shameless plug in there!

Patents:

We will be applying for our first patent entitled "A Process for Minimizing Optical Artifacts in Transparent and Semitransparent Enclosures" in October, 2009, hopefully co-applying with a major manufacturer in the security field if we can work out all of the details.

Our second patent will be applied for around the beginning of November, 2009 (details to follow).

Our third patent will be applied for before the end of 2009 (details to follow).

We plan to follow a similar schedule during the first two years of Maristream, averaging about a patent per month.  After that, when we have built up our financial base, we will double our goal to two patent applications per month.  After five years, we should be averaging one patent application per week (50+ patents per year).

Charitable Contributions:

Our first major charitable contribution has been in the works for about two months now.  We are working with a local organization on a large land donation in the Central Arkansas area to be preserved in perpetuity as a nature preserve and study area.

Our second major contribution will be in the second quarter of 2010, also to a nature preservation organization, which will be among the largest contributions ever given to the Arkansas branch of that organization.

Our third major contribution will be in the fourth quarter of 2010, which will be used in several areas around the world to alleviate hunger in those areas in a sustainable way.

Our fourth major contribution will be in the second quarter of 2011, which will be used in several areas around the world to provide wells to villages that are in desperate need of such.

We will also be funding local organizations, projects, and programs involved in nature preservation, children's issues, and other issues as determined by our Board of Directors.
